The Parcel Yard is situated over two floors in Kings Cross Railway Station in London. Originally it was the parcel depot and more recently was used as offices for Network Rail. There is a glazed Atrium running up through the middle of the building; this is where the parcels would have been moved up and down to each level.
Under the guidance of English Heritage, we brought this Grade 1 listed building back to life. During the refurbishment we uncovered many original details and with the use of reclaimed materials, brought the authenticity back to this lovely property.
The parcel depot is now a busy pub and popular meeting place where people can dine or just pop in for a drink. There are also characterful function rooms overlooking the station platforms, which can be used for meetings or parties. The Parcel Yard truly is a great success!
